The Draeger Interlock Device is a vehicle mounted breathalyzer which prevents the
starting of a vehicle by a person who may be impaired due to the consumption of alcohol. It is used for modifying driver behavior in legislative programs for people who have had their driving license cancelled due to "an alcohol impaired driving conviction."
The device can be used by commercial fleet vehicles, and in industrial equipment such
as cranes, forklifts, trucks and front-end loaders. Parents may wish to consider an interlock device for their teenage children.
The Draeger Interlock has been approved to NJTSA standards.
